Worked example

For a measured range of 3–12°C and 72% RH, the reference models whose stated temperature limits cover the whole range are: Meaco DD8L Zambezi (desiccant).

The check is: your minimum ≥ the maker’s minimum and your maximum ≤ the maker’s maximum. Relative humidity is recorded for context; it is not scored against an invented target.
